This exhibition is the largest collection ever assembled of the treasures of the Empire of Genghis Khan, from the Mongolian Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as private collections.

The NC Museum of Natural Sciences offers a $2 discount to Adults with their First Night Buttons.  We will honor this discount beginning December 31, 2011 and continue that discount through the last day of the exhibit on January 16, 2012.  This will be good for on-site same day ticket sales at the museum box office only.  On December 31, the last ticket sale and last entry for the Genghis Khan exhibit is 4 pm.  Please note that the Museum will be closed January 1, 2012.

Directed by Jerome Davis, Hardy’s masterpiece caused such a firestorm of controversy upon its publication in 1895 that he never wrote another novel.  It tells the tale of a young country lad, Jude Fawley, his beloved cousin Sue, and their efforts to fight entrenched ways in England and make something of their lives.  This world premiere musical features a cast of 15 led by Raleigh’s Stephen LeTrent.
