You are invited to join the African American Dance Ensemble for a First Night Raleigh favorite! Celebrate community spirit to the beat of ancient rhythms. The choreographic works of the African American Dance Ensemble depict customs, traditions and occasions of African life. For over a decade, Chuck Davis has taken annual trips to Africa to study African dance and art traditions.
