David DiGiuseppe plays classic French accordion tunes!

David DiGiuseppe is a multi–faceted performer who has been playing professionally since 1978. A nationally recognized accordionist, DiGiuseppe is known for his fiery and emotive playing, and is equally at home performing Irish tunes in a pub, French musettes in a cabaret, contra or Cajun music for a dance, or in the intimate setting of a concert hall.  DiGiuseppe has released three recordings showcasing his playing on music from Celtic, Parisian and American traditions. Reviewer John O’Regan of Ireland wrote, “…a player of immense talent and vision, David is a musician worth encountering.”

DiGiuseppe is also featured on four releases with his band FootLoose, a new CD with Contrazz, a new CD release by Craicdown, and appears on numerous CDs backing other musicians.  He has written three music books published by Mel Bay Publications—two extensive collections of traditional tunes arranged for accordion and The Mighty Accordion--The Complete Guide to Mastering Left Hand Bass/Chord Patterns.
