See downtown Raleigh like you've never seen it before!  Take a ride 90 feet into the air on "La Grande Roue de Raleigh" -- an experience that will surely make your First Night memorable.

Beginning with the great exhibition of 1900, a giant Ferris wheel -- La Grande Roue de Paris -- was erected in France's capital city for special celebrations.  In 2000, a new Grande Roue de Paris was built to celebrate the dawn of the new Millennium.  The wheel stayed in La Place de la Concorde until 2002, when it was dismantled and traveled throughout the world.

Today, La Grande Roue de Paris stands tall in Paris's La Place de la Concorde for the 2011 holiday season and to ring in 2012.
